THE CONCEPT
The store for the things you didn't end up buying.
The Empty Shop sells symbolic non-products to celebrate the purchases you've avoided. A simple, humorous, and transparent idea against overconsumption.
Why does this concept exist?
Because one day, I realized we live in a world where it's possible to have an item delivered in 24 hours that we didn't even know existed the day before.
So, instead of selling yet another gadget, I chose to sell its absence.
The Empty Shop is a serious joke about our impulse purchases: a way of saying that we can sometimes feel the same satisfaction by buying nothing, with less cardboard, less regret, and far fewer things to put away.
And if, in the process, this concept makes you smile, then this emptiness won't have been entirely useless.
